Got so little sleep as I was worried about Luna's first night home after surgery. I slept next to her pen in a sleeping bag lmao She finally peed this morning and absolutely wolfed down her breakfast and I cannot describe the sheer relief I feel omfg

Just dropped Luna off at the vet for her surgery and I'm fucking spiraling Saying goodbye to her was literally the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I know she will be fine but god. It is so hard to stay rational. She is my world.

Luna 100% needs surgery, she has a torn CCL (dog equivalent of her ACL) Vet says her other one is showing signs of weakness so is recommending a bilateral knee surgery as it will blow out eventually anyway We don't have a quote from the surgeon just yet but she thinks it will be $8k+ 🫠
