Been dealing with a chronic illness flare-up this week. I've had to work from bed because I'm too exhausted and can barely move It also gives me insomnia and I've been consistently only getting three hours of sleep at night. It's 4 AM right now and I've been awake for two hours. I'm in hell 😭

I wrote 3,400 words about Silksong and did not once use the words "soulslike," "Dark Souls," or "metroidvania." If that isn't worth a read, I don't know what is.

I had a really nice birthday today. My husband went to a lot of effort to make sure I felt special. I won't lie, though. It really hurts that my parents couldn't even spare 20 seconds out of their day to send a birthday text. I can't say I'm surprised but it still stings.
