Heading back to Blighty after a wonderful break in Kenya. So nice to see the sun and blue skies!

Currently having chill time on the coast in Kenya. Reading a fab novel by the amazing Zadie Smith. Fascinating to see what others are doing around the pool. Knitting, a couple of us reading books but mainly STARING- SCROLLING on their phones.

What a year it’s been!

There are so many aspects and nuances to the fall of the Assad regime in Syria. But what this will embolden an already brass-necked Israeli regime to worries me greatly. Let's not start me on the mainstream media wording of the ascending 'rebels' mostly ignoring the concerning aspects there too.

I had a lovely birthday today, spent it with good friends. Ate drank and laughed so much we forgot to take any photos. But it happened . great fun was had by all and cake was consumed.
