I wrote this poem in response to the #Trump #Vance #Zelensky meeting to process the feelings it stirred up.

Yes, it’s about war and diplomacy. But, on a purely human level, seeing someone bullied the way Zelenskyy was in the Oval Office was very distressing. It resonates with anyone who’s ever been ignored, dismissed or gaslit. This was needed.

People really think that DEI means they give unqualified people jobs. No that's called a Trump Administration.

This is thuggery from Trump and Vance, plain and simple. They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.

Trump and Vance bullied and humiliated Zelensky – who is fighting for the survival of his nation – broadcast live worldwide. Starmer has invited Trump for a state visit. We should think twice before rolling out the red carpet.
