It's good to stay informed and don't stop being informed, but it's okay to work on self-indulgent things to distract yourself. You're not pulling wool over your eyes, and it's not toxic positivity. You're valid for wanting something to help you cope and get through the day.

Had a cute and fun relaxing day out today 😁 I treated myself to a spa day, coffee, and window shopping! It’s windy out now - glad I got home when I did 🏡 There was a shop selling scented gel pens, so I tried them out and I attempted to draw the Starry Court from memory using them! 😊

I've been watching the Artemis II livestream from NASA and it really is so beautiful how exploration, discovery, and space in general turns everyone into a poet. It seems the natural human instinct is to get sappy and emotional when you see Earth, our beloved pale blue dot, from so far away.
