Spent today fixing my old Yamaha tape deck, was playing at the wrong speed and the belt was fucked. Trying it out now with some of the first tapes I ever bought from the late 80s, as you can see I had exquisite taste for a 5 or 6 year old back in the day...not enough talk about Bros or a-ha here 🫂🎸

My first computer: the Sharp MZ-700 which I got c.1987/88. Kind of a cross between the speccy and Atari (which I got a couple of years later), but with a lovely keyboard and overall design. Sadly threw mine out sometime in the mid-90s.

Just discovered that Liverpool pop sensations The Reynolds Girls, after publicly falling out with Stock Aitken and Waterman, self-released a 2nd self-written/self-produced single called 'Get Real' in which their parents remortgaged their homes to finance. It did not chart. 💀
