Did I just rewatch the last 30 minutes of Predator Badlands for the five thousandth time? Maybe. Maybe. I lost count. I really do not have words for how much I love this movie.

Today I had a former employee who is working for another store reach out to me who said their current employer was thankful to how I trained and educated them in the business. And that was pretty cool. I always want people to leave More Fun feeling improved by their time with me.

Last night I realized that, with Badlands on Hulu, when I get in a mood at the end of the day, I can just fire up Hulu on my PC and skip to my favorite parts and watch Bud bite off the head of Dek's dad over and over and then stew in the symbolism of the moment because I overthink everything.

Here's the thing, though. This sets aside the fact that, also for two decades, WotC's primary focus on Magic play was promoting the competitive scene. The end of blocks and the end of focus on competitive were basically at the same time. I'd argue that the change in focus was a much bigger deal.
