When the kids were about 4 & 8 we found a surefire way to stop them overeating chocolate: One Xmas we failed to monitor chocolate consumption for about 30 minutes. They both ate a whole mahoosive chocolate Santa. And felt very very sick. They’ve self-limited ever since.
