When you see the concept art of Silvermoon, you do really really see someone came in with a steel chair to the world building of the Blood Elves and Silvermoon to make it as shallow and bland and "we idolize high elves so much" as they could.

So much of the concept art for Midnight features green gems on the Blood Elf assets, and I really have to wonder at what point in development they chose to surgically excise that from the racial aesthetic. Even the holy-looking buildings here have their iconic colors!

The Jailer would have been one of the better parts of Shadowlands if he: A) Wasn't presented as a galaxy brain puppeteer with his hand in all the cookie jars of prior WC lore. B) Had his motivation not be so ambiguous and "incomprehensible".

Honestly, just retcon her from the moment she dove off the top of ICC, that vision was a weird possession dream, 'her' valkyr from that point onward were the Jailers special mawsworn etc. Post raid cine is her just getting her like 99% soul back & until now, her dealing with what her 'she' has done.

I've reflecting on how I feel about WoW currently and the closest thing I can equate it to is thinking about rewatching Game of Thrones and knowing what the end is. That last season also speed ran everything into neat, shitty packages and just killed a franchise, and I don't want that for WoW.
