My one hope for Survival Hunter going forward really is just a cosmetic glyph for Boomstick to use your Ranged Weapon slot. It's the cleanest solution to allow players to use any appearance from their collection without changing the spec's (amazingly fluid) gameplay flow.

I think its because we've all given up on the idea of established cool races we all know and love from decades playing this game becoming playable, we all know they'd prefer an OC with 8 billion eyebrow options instead these days

I also think Warcraft I'd completely hampered by being an mmo. The narrative a lot of people want cannot actually be done in an mmo.

By mature story i also dont mean all the gore and blood but the writing in itself, its something wow has traded for being more digestible and appealing to a broader audience thats why its losing its identity and charm, the devs arent confident enough anymore to be bold because its too risky
