It is going to be politically hard to add back the taxes that Republicans cut. So what we should promise for 2029 is a simply massive tax on billionaires. Not to raise all the missing revenue, but to punish them for their political interference and deter it in future.

Impeachment is warranted in its own right as an investigative tool when, as here, POTUS hides information from Congress. But also: the *failure* to push impeachment signals the party isn't aligned with its own voters or even the overall majority, which supports it. Nothing good comes from that.
