This is very dumb. Energy units aren't more strained when being used at home. Also, I question whether offices *are* more efficient given they often have things like AC, lights on 24 hours a day whether anyone's there or not, etc.

Right so here's the thing. It's Friday night. This is not a big banner game for Leinster, but we're here and so are the rest of the faithfuls. The Aviva is very much not full. Every one of us should also be able to get tickets to Ireland games. We've put in the cold hours!

I'm always amused at the variety of replies I get when I email companies to ask for their reports. In today's "this is funny" file, someone replied to say they had checked other companies in their industry and didn't see reports and they hoped I was asking the other companies. Quite snarkily too.

Mind you, she identifies as Britain's Strictest Head and not as, for example, Britain's most gullible fan of the Daily Mail.

My experience (both personal and friends and family) is that the gardaí don't care about these crimes, or anything they think is "small". It erodes trust in them and makes it harder to solve all crimes, and to recruit gardaí themselves. Who would want to join them?

This is definitely an idea dreamt up by C suite folks who work from home or in a large private office, while forcing employees to return to work in the open plan noise nightmare they created because open plan lets you cram in more workers.

Here's an interesting data point from yesterday's conference. As it was for women in medicine, the organisers offered free childcare, which is amazing and the first time I have seen this at any event. Judging by the amount of kids kicking around this morning, it allowed so many more women to attend.

Today's conference talk included me telling the audience that I think there's an age at which every woman simply stops giving a damn, and I would like to drive that age much, much lower. The patriarchy has not earned your fucks. Do not give them freely.
