Samantha is famously impatient when she can see gifts that are for her so we have already exchanged gifts. First is a Commander placeholder item. It tracks life and other stuff! Next is a card holder that has a fancy book look and a clasp like an old-timey diary.

I am someone who grew up poor and wanted things I couldn't afford. As an adult I'd save for things I want and buy them. My love language doesn't really involve receiving gifts because I grew up not really getting a fuss made for or about me but I do like giving them.

One thing I love about how Magic has influenced other aspects of playing board and card games, namely how you can get card sleeves for other games. Same goes for playmats and storage solutions. That stuff has all come a long way thanks to Magic.
