Very sad but understanding about Glass Beach ending. I literally wouldnt be where I am now with my life and Hot Chip Fingers without their work. I came to terms with the fact I was trans thanks to their music. And Lavender as a whole was deeply inspired by Kate from TFGBA

In 1993, we traveled to Denmark for "The Party", a large demoscene event. We were creating the Amiga version of MC. I made a drawing for our table, showing Moon Child keeping Sonic from running. I don't have the drawing anymore. Maybe one of the cool artists on Bluesky would like to recreate it? 🙂

Im unfortunately gonna have to put the webcomic on hiatus until further notice. I felt like the storyline I had planned out just dosnt work for me anymore. Chatlogs 3 and 4 will still be releasing soon-ish. I will probably be on hiatus for a few weeks at most. I will need time to think it through

The current art direction i'm taking HCF now is VERY SPECIFICALLY the vibe of 2009. Windows Vista was out for a while, Windows 7 was just coming out. At the turn of the decade, anime was still a pretty niche hobby between American fans, the comic is set in current day, but feels just like 2009
