Anyone who was looking for any new solutions from him got nothing; anyone who was looking for him to acknowledge how bad things are looking got lies about how amazing things are; anyone who was looking for leadership got a guy who seemed anxious and internally exhausted Just a wall-to-wall disaster

If you didn't watch it you missed nothing, it was just a verbatim repetition of all the lies he's been telling for the past year, except this time he seemed angry and hurried and weirdly rattled—perhaps because he has a 36% approval rating and he just gave a speech offering no hope of any turnaround

This speech is a case study in what not to do as a leader: deny reality, blame everyone else, and take zero responsibility.

Trump is incapable of accepting responsibility for ANYTHING.
