Writing a custom WordPress theme+plugin for a work project and WP provides a ton of helper functions for backend stuff like adding REST endpoints, sanitization and user roles. WP kinda underrated as a backend. Granted, prob not as batteries included as Django or Laravel but can be an option.

Strange bug+browser quirk of the day. WordPress site I made doesn't use HTTPS on 404 pages. On a previous site, I fixed this by adding . htaccess rules to force redirect to HTTPS. On this site, chromium based browsers will use HTTPS even if the server doesn't redirect.

Spent quite a while today looking into curating my bsky feed. When looking up something, I open a few tabs and don't stop till I go through all of them. This hyperfocus makes me forget about more imp. tasks at hand, esp. since each tab can spawn more tabs from me clicking links, searching stuff.
