Just finished watching Adolescence on Netflix- what outstanding TV it is. Thoroughly absorbing, brilliantly written, superbly shot and every performance is spot on, particularly the amazing Owen Cooper as the boy at the centre of it. Not an easy watch but well worth it.

My father passed away yesterday after a short illness. He was a wonderfully supportive and encouraging figure in our lives and he will be sadly missed. He also in 1968 took me to my first game at the Hawthorns, a 6-3 thrashing of Man Utd. After that there was no turning back.
