#HealthXPH this is true. There is a sort of "pakikisama" among healthcare workers, not to call out co-workers especially not in public.

There was a time when as an intern I would answer questions that residents couldnt answer. Somebody told me I should just stay quiet because the residents would be humiliated. #HealthXPH

On top on learning skills to advance the art of our craft, we need to learn to "read the land" and be sensitive to political cues because although we are non-partisan, Health is Political. #healthXPH not everyone needs to know what you are doing.

Middle stages of my career, I realized that it is not enough to be the best you can be, because outshining other people might not be politically correct - especially when you work with more senior leaders. #healthXPH bullying in the workplace can also be a source of burnout, so be kind.

I find that getting my hands dirty with soil (or cocopeat) and planting vegetables make me feel better. Doing something manual can provide the endorphins I need when I'm stuck with a mental problem. On my condo balcony, I have a mini-vertical garden with tomatoes, okra, oregano, mustard #healthXPH

Am happy that our students are recognized for their work both in school and in the community. Recognition goes a long way to maintain motivation and prevent burnout! #HealthXPH We need to be generous with our praise!

I think I first experienced burn out fairly recently when I suddenly had to drag my feet to head for work, hard starting in the mornings. Having menopausal symptoms of disturbed sleep patterns did not help either, so I had to take some time off the rest my mind and recharge and reflect. #healthXPH

I guess the 4-day work week helps also to decompress more with a longer weekend. It allowed me to consider devoting time to the farm again... with focused energy during the work week and more time for farm endeavors on the weekend #HealthXPH

Self-care is having a twinning haircut with my mom, hehehehe... sometimes taking a non-working break to socialize and reconnect with family and friends can address burnout issues. #HealthXPH I shouldnt feel guilty about taking a day off from work. Sundays are for family and the folks!

Let's move on to T2. In case we get successful at integrating health screenings for women, how do we include marginalized groups like transgenders, non-binary individuals and sex workers? #healthXPH always important to remain gender sensitive these days.

In case of a jackpot, it might be overwhelming to accept multiple diagnosis in one sitting. #healthXPH

Whether it is areas for physical privacy of examinations or provision of auditory privacy for HIV counseling and testing, in most government hospitals and clinics, SPACE is really an issue. #healthXPH

Let's get started with T1. Integrated women's health screening is all about integrating reproductive and sexual health and rights into day to day services. What are the clinical and administrative barriers to implementing this in a single visit? #healthXPH

The idea of providing all possible services in one sitting takes advantage of the opportunistic character of medical missions. #healthXPH It would be nice to offer it routinely in our clinics for patient convenience and efficiency of services.

I just volunteered to include HIV screening in our POGS mission for women's health screening with breast and cervical CA screening. I ended up giving a short talk to convince women to get screened, especially since our services were offered for free! #HealthXPH

We were invited by the Girl Scouts of the Philippines where we gave lectures and panel discussion and even offered free HIV testing. #HealthXPH It's an opportunity more for values education and normalizing HIV testing more than anything else.

It would be an advantage to the government financially if we can stop HIV spread. Imagine that Philhealth OHAT package pays P14,625 per quarter. If you had 1,000 PLHIVs their treatment would cost P58.5M each year #HealthXPH
