And I was a bit naïve on this, apparently they have no problem subverting democracy using force either given the deployments into Democratic-majority cities. I didn’t quite have that on my radar, perhaps it was too on the nose that I didn’t genuinely believe they would do it.

We shouldn’t be cowed into silence. But they can ruin lives. So we should be prepared to rally in defense of the groups and individuals they do target. Pro bono legal teams in place. Funding. Publicity. Protests.
