11/60 ‘Necessary Evil’ As wide ranging as my love for #StarTrek is - Deep Space 9 and it’s characters, Odo in particular hold a very special place in my heart❣️The impeccable Noir-vibes, the visually striking flashbacks and emotional core are some of the many reasons I love this one 🖖

While on the subject of 90’s animation, if you like Disney’s ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ I’d recommend the Studio Cast Recording. They did some rewrites for the stage version (no tonally jarring gargoyles), the cast is excellent and it’s well worth checking out 🔔

10/60 ‘The First Duty’ Returning to #StarTrek The Next Generation for some top tier character drama. Wil Wheaton gets a chance to show what he can do and Sir Patrick brings the Shakespearian gravitas. Guest stars are also excellent, among them Robert Duncan McNeil who looks nothing like Tom Paris 😉

4/60 ‘The Wounded’ One of the first episodes I think of when #StarTrek The Next Generation comes up is this one. The introduction of the Cardassians and especially O’Brien and Capt. Maxwell singing ‘The Mistrel Boy’ makes this one of my favorites🖖

3/60 ‘Strange New Worlds’ My next pick comes from more recent Trek. The pilot episode of Strange New Worlds took me by surprise when it first aired. Most of the episode is decent, but the speech Capt. Pike makes near the end hit me in the gut 🖖 A good start to a show I love
