I hope someday Pixar makes something of a remastered version of the first Toy Story movie because the human character models in it are starting to show their age, and all of the now obvious copy-pasting of the like 5 human character models they seemed to have in total for it.

The reason generative AI is so popular with wannabe creatives is best illustrated by something every pro writer has encountered: getting pitched an idea by someone saying "You write it and we'll split the profits!" because they think the idea is what has value, not the writing. The opposite is true.

King Sombra will always be that character in MLP: FiM who is an enigma to me. He's someone who seems to have a lot of history behind him. Yet he has to have the least amount of screentime, lines, and presence compared to the other villains in the show. The fuck this guy's deal?

Every time I watch The Little Mermaid 2 I just hear the other characters the voice actors have played or are well known for. We have: - Twilight Sparkle - Mr. Krabs - Daxter - And Cam Clarke doing his default voice he uses in countless stuff he's done voice work for.

After seeing how the Devil May Cry series turned out, and how they eventually bungled the Netflix Castlevania series: Never mind what I said about wanting a Jak and Daxter TV series, animated or live-action. Don't want to risk seeing my boys be done so dirty.

I know I've said this before, but I think Sonic Prime has some of the ugliest side characters in the franchise. Bad enough they endlessly copy paste the same three character models, but them looking really off makes it worse. They look like dumpy bootleg figures from China.

I would say much of the Sonic fandom would stop being miserable asshats who are constantly at each other's throats if they took up knitting/crocheting. But I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to ruin that too, by having really stupid arguments over yarn or some shit.

One of the ways I've connected both universes in my Jak and Daxter and Sonic X crossover fic is that Seedrians are actually distant descendants of the Metal Head/Hora-quan race. Large parts of the Hora-quan genome still live on in them. Cosmo is a friend shaped Metal Head.

Maybe I've played and beaten this game so much it's become second nature to me, but sometimes I feel like people tend to exaggerate Jak 2's difficulty like it's on par with NES games. Naturally your first playthrough will be brutal, but I think it's fair for most of the part.

I'm currently revisiting the Jak and Daxter games through the fan PC ports that are out of the first two games so far. Now I'm really considering picking this crossover fic of mine back up....

I'm thinking of giving my Daxter cosplay a refurbishment and taking it to San Japan this year. Only thing is that the bodysuit uses long pile fur, and there's a reason why I tend to save these types of heavy fur based cosplay for the fall and winter con season. #JakandDaxter

I love how Naughty Dog really wanted to show everyone that Jak was now a big edgy bad ass now after the first game, but it only made the fandom collectively think, "Nooo! Poor baybeee!!!" and see him more as a big traumatized teddy bear who needs a really big hug.

I still have this fun headcanon of mine, that Sonic Boom and the 90s Donkey Kong Country cartoon take place in the same universe, and Comedy Chimp and Vector's shows were imported to Kongo Bongo Island and became super popular with the Kong and Kremling population on the island.

My crossover obsessed ass is currently trying not to get sidetracked by delving into one between two things that I think are tailor made for one.

The rabid hatred towards Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss fans is giving me flashbacks to when Twilight was big. The haters being fat more insufferable and annoying than the fans ever were, "joking" fans of a series deserve harassment or to be killed, and hiding behind moral superiority as their excuse.

Felix the Cat: The Movie, is the Sonic 06 of the 80s/90s trend of modern animated film adaptations based off of classic cartoon IPs. And I'm not making that comparison because of the kind of maybe sort of I guess if you squint implied romantic feelings between Felix and Princess Oriana.

Every time I watch the early seasons of South Park it reminds me how much I miss Chef. I'm not surprised that Isaac Haye's didn't quit the show on his own volition when his health started declining, after learning just how awful the "Church" of Scientology is.

I'm honestly tired of the stop-motion Rankin Bass Christmas specials not being considered anime simply for not being 2D or CGI. All of those uncredited Japanese animators didn't work their asses off just for their work to be brushed off because they don't fit some arbitrary aesthetic requirements.
