Minneapolis Public Schools canceled classes district-wide for the remainder of the week, citing “safety concerns,” following the murder committed by an ICE agent. The move came after officials at Roosevelt High School said armed U.S. Border Patrol officers came on school property during dismissal.

Minneapolis is out in the streets to show the disgust and the rage its citizens feel against ICE. Police joined protesters to make a maximum of noise outside the hotel where the ICEstapo is housed.

IT IS TREASON. We can never repair the damage and trauma these men suffered. We must continue to advocate for justice for these men, as well as those still there, the 36 or more Salvadoran men still there. What happened to these men and continues with those left behind is a travesty.

This is horrible and truly shameful. It removes the visible memorial to their honor, hurts their families and communities, and robs us of the truth. It blatantly shows the racism and hatred behind this.
