As the long-time leader of our local @dcg612.bsky.social hacker group, I'm disappointed in @defcon.bsky.social's decision regarding DC Group names and rules. TLDR: They want leader identification (name, email, phone) and we can't use the "DCXXX" naming convention. old.reddit.com/r/Defcon/com...

I'm working on a draft of presentation for @dcg612.bsky.social So far my working title is: "Mitigating Persistent Lateral Surface Threats: A Case Study in Real-Time Infrastructure Patching – A quick gaze into the puddle of persistent overflows and adaptive patch management."

My biggest endorsement for why you should join the @dcg612.bsky.social discord is that we have a specific channel that is just for screaming into the void and it only allows the letter A (lower and upper).
