Last night's film was The Life of Chuck (2014). I knew nothing about it in advance, except the director and who wrote the novel. Left me sobbing for half an hour because I'd been preparing myself for a scary twist but it was just very kind. Up there with Shawshank and Stand by Me. Perfect.
