These kinds of transcriptions, made by Karaites, are an invaluable source for how Tiberian
#Hebrew
was pronounced, especially when it comes to vowel length. Biblical Hebrew spelling doesn't mark vowel length; not consistently. So, many scholars simply think it didn't exist anymore in Tiberian. BUTā¦
