Having had a nights sleep to think over #StarfleetAcademy … I’m beyond enraged with the decisions they have made to certain legacy characters. Tapping out of Kurtzman #StarTrek now and paramount plus is getting cancelled.

Starfleets Academy ep5 might have been a massive walk down memberberry lane some of which I loved but clashing themes and tone it didn’t work for me with was very frustrating.

Think I’m tapping out of #StarTrek Starfleet Academy after this week, the NuTrek TV show styling / tone mixed in with Discoverse baggage is simply too much for me to enjoy. One thing to shout out the moment between the Klingon student and jem'hadar was a solid and felt like proper Trek.

First shot of this weeks Starfleet Academy is a monologue but the chancellor is completely alone on the bridge … no one monitoring systems or anything? No wonder they where so easily caught of guard in EP1 🫣
