One of the many things I loved about Twin Peaks was that Lynch was baffled that he had to write towards commercial breaks, so they landed in wonderfully strange places. I can't find evidence of this, but I remember one coming right after Cooper tells Diane he's holding a box of chocolate bunnies.

David Lynch was so influential I'm not sure we can even see the borders of his legacy. From the Sopranos and the whole world of peak TV to the fact that "Lynchian" is an adjective that can be applied to so many forms of TV, film, theater and other works of art already speaks volumes.

According to the WSJ, there won't be any Bond films for a while since the Broccoli family won't let Amazon turn the franchise into a universe of "content." In the meantime, Bond lives on in the Imaginary Worlds universe of audio dramas where I interview fictional characters.
