Last night I referred to myself as centipedes in a skin suit. Both my wife and beloved did not appreciate that sentiment and said absolutely not. So now I am either: butterflies in a duffel bag, dragonflies in a bathrobe or lightning bugs in a trash can. Grateful my loves like it weird. 😬

Sometimes poly life is washing your wife’s “sexy underwear” so she can go on a date, sometimes it’s cooking double so there is enough for primary and secondary houses, and sometimes its being able to take a deep breathe knowing that you have a village to help through this relentless life.

Finally got around to organizing my tea cabinet tonight. This is just one drawer. These are all non medicinal loose leaf tea blends. While some have lemon balm and marshmallow root etc. they mostly just taste yummy. Tomorrow I unpack my teapots, and yes only certain teas go in certain pots.

Listen. I think sending voice notes is highly underrated. It’s doesn’t always have to be spicy. The jokes, sleepy good mornings, twilight dazed goodnights when you’re craving touch and love. Let them hear your sweet voices and silly laughs.

What saves us is rarely dramatic. It is often simple, unseen, and easily dismissed by those who have never needed it. Do not underestimate small acts. What feels insignificant to you may be the only thing holding someone together. Do the good you can, when you can and without measuring it.

Okay so if you need me Tuesday. No you don’t. But also, I really like that I can click the card name and the visual comes up. My brain has been connecting the visual image with what the card does as I’ve been learning, so while I can read to double check what it is, I’m able to play off of visual.

Today is for quiet sorting. At some point today, sit quietly for a few minutes. Ask Yourself: "What no longer needs my energy?" Do not answer immediately. Do not reason it out. When the answer arrives, even if it's uncomfortable acknowledge it once. Then say “I see you, I release you”.

Power is not in how brightly you burn, but in how long you can sustain the flame. Speak less. Choose carefully. Protect your energy. Fire that is tended survives. Fire that is flaunted dies out. So for today I say: “I tend the flame that sustains me. I do not waste what is sacred."

I thought you played hide and go seek with your eyes closed, and I walked into a banister. Stitches in my eyebrow. Bumped my head on a kitchen cabinetry, got upset and slammed it shut and it popped back and hit me in the same spot. The universe was laughing at me that day. 🫣

This is why I need in person TTRPG friends. I will commit to bit, complete with themed snacks and an audio soundtrack. Peak bug autism right there.
