On my computer I have two folders I'm mostly working in all day, "Professional" for all my jobs and "Projects" for all my personal artwork. And it's when something from the Projects folder needs to move into the Professional folder that I know I'm doing pretty good.

I saw a TikTok by a news journalist recently who was in Minneapolis and trying to get coverage of the relentless hard work people are doing on the ground, but it's difficult to do, because it's mostly done in people's homes, isn't visually interesting, and people don't want to talk to the camera.

ICE watchers are being detained and harassed — but they're also stopping ICE abductions and inspiring others to join them

Part of why my childhood was so beautiful were my friendships with immigrants. Why my family moved to the Minneapolis suburbs was for the diversity in the public schools; everyone went to the same place. This has never been what Minnesota wants.
