The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

And in this moment, this beautiful child would be falling into his mother for comfort but she has been taken. We are raising a generation of children who are being traumatized by the state, and some of them will grow up angry because their parents were ripped away by force.
