A tea cosy made for a friend! A magpie sits beside a pumpkin, and connects our friend to us, now in our new home province, Alberta. Magpies also call Alberta home.

The Northern lights are beautiful tonight. Greens, reds and yellow dancing across the sky!

I watched The Last Rifleman on Prime. I strongly recommend it. Although this character fought in WW1, he reminded me of my dad who fought in WWII. Dad never spoke of the war. I never understood what he went through. I had a glimpse tonight. Trump is flirting with another war. I am disgusted.

Progress has been slow on this piece. Life sometimes gets in the way of what I most enjoy, and what brings me peace. This is sketched freehand onto burlap. I’m sure others have sketched Pumpkins and birds, but this is my creation and composition. I chose a Magpie instead of a crow this time.

This is fantastic but also underlines DON'T trust mainstream media.
