Finished cleaning the garage guttering today, and also installed this rather dinky pipe reducer to allow a tap/hosepipe to be connected to the giant waterbutt behind the garage.

A late update. Started cleaning out the garage gutters only to find a broken bracket to fix and a clogged downpipe. Did one side before taking Puss for her yearly jabs.

I'm sitting in a bar in Elounda; it's sunny and warm. I'm drinking beer, eating a toastie and looking out on to the harbour, and I've never seen so many miserable holidaymakers in my life. Are you enjoying yourself? Well, tell your face. Us? We're having fun!

Breakfast: Greek yoghurt and honey, a ham and mushroom omelette, croissants and coffee. Don't want to overdo it. Lunch: chicken souvlaki and ouzo. Careful, don't ruin your appetite for later. Dinner: everything from the buffet piled 6 inches high on a plate, a bowl of chips, 7 desserts and a beer.
