I did a find and replace to call Splinter "Yoshi" in this script.for consistency with what I'd already written. I didn't just hit replace all, but I must have gotten a little sloppy anyway, because this panel description says "the desk is Yoshiing"

Gave my name as Pallie on a pickup order for the first time and felt like I was breaking the rules.

Wrote this twelve years ago and it's still one of my favorite scenes in my work.

Wrapping up a very cool TMNT script today, and then for the first time in over a year I'll have no paying work, nothing on the decks to write. (except the Marvel Rivals ongoing, which I write in bursts every four months, and I just finished a burst). Doesn't feel great, tbh. But ever forward.

Seeking advice: I'd like to do a Reddit AMA for the Power Rangers, TMNT and Marvel Rivals community, and anyone else who wants to show up, but i'm not sure how to effectively get the word out in the subreddits if you're not an active user. Thoughts from experienced redditors?

I've never had the proper opportunity to write Bebop and Rocksteady before, to my eternal shame (B&R clones were in my turtles in time future issue, but as a sight gag/weapon, not as characters), but I just wrote a scene with them that's so funny and so horrible and I love it.

I wrote a comic that featured Christian Louboutin in the Marvel universe, Zendaya and I are equally cool.

When I decide I'm done working for the day, and then less than two hours later I'm writing or lettering or etc again. (this is about me having unhealthy work habits, not about deadlines)

EDITOR: Hey, good news, we had time to change your name right before printing on (comic I have no memory of writing)! It's a promotional comic that I outlined and write a few days after I got out of the hospital, when I looked up the script I went, "ohhhhhhh, yeah!"

This woman was sitting in her car next to the only empty spot. She gave me the evil eye as I was parking, then maintained eye contact while I opened my car door as narrowly as I could and slid out like Flat Stanley. Went in, got a soda. She hadn't left or reparked so we did it again in reverse.

Teller at my bank asked if I knew my account number. When I said no he said that's okay since he knows who I am. Then he told me how much he liked Past the Last Mountain. Before I left he thanked me for what I do and said I make his life better. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before.

There are a ton of geese and ducks in my neighborhood (surrounded on three sides by rivers and canals), and in the past my apartment building would occasionally get a duck or goose passing through the courtyard. But this summer for some reason they're here CONSTANTLY, and I love it.

It's a good day to wake up, drink some water, take my meds, do some stretches and then send Juan Romera the script for the third issue of Pink Midnight Presents. So that's what I'm gonna do.
