The inaccuracy of language around AI is a serious, SERIOUS detriment to understanding. AI that makes a goomba move is not ML, ML is not an LLM, LLMs aren't even image diffusion models! "AI" as an umbrella term for so many disparate technologies is a prime vector for the harm being wrought.

Although looked down on by other Wizards, and forbidden from attaining "Arch Mage" status, there is no debating that Warlocks can amass and exert immense power rapidly. Perhaps it is the rapidity and lack of full understanding of that power that so often leads to such short, terminal, careers.

Preview of something else I have in the works on a Supernote, a Kindle-like writing/drawing device introduced to me by @harrybogosian.bsky.social and @aluhnim.bsky.social .

Although only higher-level wizards can do so, the act of animating an object provides a convenient and tractable tool. Interestingly, the object often retains and manifests the "intent" of those that used it previously. It may be discarded through removing the magical weave, whenever desired.

Used in "Disposable Strikes", Tracers are capable of short teleportation bursts, have tracking abilities, and lifespans of five days. Grown in clusters as needed, they are immensely effective at taking out single targets with very little cost to The Company. Sometimes called "The Ideal Employee".

Rare and despised, Demonkin are the byproducts of Demonic and Human ancestry. While Demons are powerful and alien, Demonkin are disappointingly mundane. They have an unlikely ally in Rogue Ai. The Ai delights in finding and fostering Demonkin. Eradicate when found. -World Wide Wizarding Almanac
