Really fun show with Super Guitar Bros. And they are just amazing musicians, too. As a newbie guitar player, my hands were cramping just watching them play!

Finally got my Chrissie Zullo Uminga sketch framed. I’m a terrible mat cutter, but it still looks great & I’m excited to finally get it up on my wall!

Game day

I stumbled on Terry Pratchett as a teenager working in a library - couldn't figure out why I had to shelve those books constantly, read one, figured it out. Decades later and he holds up great. The watch books pulled me in first, nowadays bopping my way around the witches.

Got a couple of very beautiful and thoughtful thank you cards from students. When I’m only seeing these kids once a week, it’s hard to tell if I’m making any kind of positive influence on their lives. I guess at least for these two, I did. 😁

Just an amazing show from start to finish! Dancehall Crashers at the Warsaw in Brooklyn. Only had the chance to see them once before in the late 90s. So glad we made the trip. Capped off a great few days in NYC.

Being indecisive about where to go for dinner. This should hold us over until we figure it out.

Took over 2 hours in typical beltway bs traffic to get to Baltimore, but the show was worth it.

Just 2 days difference. Wrapping up our trip & getting back to reality is a cold, snowy slap in the face.

Great energy at the Kill Lincoln show tonight. First time at the Vault at the Capital One Center. Nice venue. And close! Nice not to have to deal with 495 traffic after a show.

Getting the studio Halloween ready.

Was just talking to someone about this yesterday. The quality of the new agents (if these masked individuals are actually agents), is just demonstrably awful. Watching them struggle with basic tasks because they’re more concerned about keeping their faces covered. . .

Fun game of Dead of Winter with the family. Playing with 5 people is tough and we didn’t even play with a betrayer! Down to 0 morale, but the colony wouldn’t have survived another round anyway. Still really fun to watch how everyone handles the collapse of civilization.

After a quick stop at Third Eye, we hit up the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the the marching band competition. Bands from from NY, NJ, and PA competing in our bracket today. Really impressed by all the bands today!!

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Been really enjoying this latest run of Hulk & looking forward to seeing where this is going.

There were some great books in the Horus Heresy series & I pretty much love anything Dan Abnett, but Ruin and Reign were some of my favorite in all 40K so far. Although, The Infinite and the Divine is also at the top of my favorites list.

Weekend at Supernova!

Music didn’t start until noon, so that gave me an hour to dig through the boxes at Bender’s & fill a few holes in some runs.

Wow! Now I’m awake. 8 Kalakas brought the energy. Definitely one of my favorite sets of the weekend.

So awesome to have the chance to see Catch -22 live. And to have Jeff Davidson on vocals again made it that much better. Really solid set from these guys!
