ICYMI: I joined @Rep_Magaziner and @RepChipRoy this week in introducing a bipartisan BAN on Congressional stock trading. It’s time for every Member of Congress to fight for the people they represent, not for their financial portfolios.

I continue to support a STOCK TRADING BAN because members of Congress should represent their constituents, not their own financial self-interests.

This is totally unacceptable. Senator Alex Padilla has been my friend for over 20 years—a decent, honorable public servant and a proud son of the American dream. I stand with him fully as we demand accountability and transparency.

Our Marines are the best lethal fighting force in the world. They generally have not been trained in non-lethal weapons or crowd control. Sending them into a domestic situation against civilians is dangerous and threatens the very apolitical nature of our Armed Forces.

There must be evidence if the Judge allowed this to proceed. 👀
