Today, I chaired a vital discussion with Muslim women from across the UK on the pressing issue of Islamophobia and anti-muslim hatred. The day featured conversations on the lived experiences of prejudice, & around empowering communities through proactive policies.

Yesterday, I joined Labour colleagues to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women & Girls on #WhiteRibbonDay. Proud to support Labour’s goal to halve violence against women and girls.

It is unbelievable that the Conservative Party is calling on our Government to ignore the rulings of the International Criminal Court. The Gov't is right to support the independence of the ICC and ensure the UK’s global reputation for upholding the rule of law is not undermined.
