Small ethos I feel anyone who wants to get into a creative medium should live by. “Every creator should be both their own biggest fan, & their own harshest critic” That way you always have the drive to see what comes next and keep your work going… but also the self awareness to regulate yourself.

I grew up with mainly only Studio Ghibli and 4Kids Sonic X, but that was really it until High school. Around that point I REALLY got into Persona 4 (yes, I know it’s a JRPG and not anime, but still) and that acted as more of a gateway to get into anime through shows like Soul Eater & Death Note.

Movie you’ve watched more than 6 times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars or Trek), LOTR or Marvel Castle in the Sky is my fav film ever made. Also, the original dub is better! I don’t care if the newer one’s more accurate, the added content improves it by adding characterization.
