I've thought it over and they really need to let EVpaladin retaliate/counter attacks that aren't aimed at them. Otherwise they'll be punished for tank swaps existing or for playing with any reborn classes. Also, then they can continue to help teammates in emergencies, co-tank or otherwise.

my biggest pipe dream for 8.0 is; there is this classic trope in final fantasy (and classic jrpg) titles where near the end of the game, you get an airship/mobile base to explore the setting with. I'd love to see something like that become our hub for shard exploration at the end.

Taking the "guess who's back" part of the hint to be the intended takeaway and assuming it's for tank, I think that means someone is making an unexpected return (to take up the class or to theme it.) that's pretty broad, I'm hoping it means gaia. nero would also be funny (magitek hammer tank)

watching the trailer, it's really cool how all of the metaphorical animations are made entirely of tapestry thread. the frost crystals are little tufts like a carpet. even the clouds, if you look at them they're spirals made out of a spun cord of yarn/wool.

Tank concepts I would love; - A dwarven/forge, fire/artifice themed tank - a HVW dragonblood tank, think reaper shroud but with scales and claws for burst and defense - Runebearer, another caster tank with a hammer, gaia could be a skin of it as her main job
