Been struggling to figure out how to draw Luca lately, anything I try doesn't look right. My inspiration pulls me in multiple different directions and I just don't know which way I want to go, Luca somehow always turns out the hardest to draw for me despite being on the simpler side. #art #arthelp

This year I really want to reinvent myself in terms of my art. While I want my core style to be there, I want something more. Something that feels like me but also something new. I'm not sure what that is yet, but over the course of the year I want to figure it out.

I've started to realize that I keep letting random peoples' negative opinions of my interests get to my head, I consider their side and think "am i stupid to like this", "should I not like this", and I just can't seem to shake their opinions off, even days/weeks later I'll just remember them

I'm starting to get to the end of my current sketchbook that I've had for years, and the feeling is really starting to hit, wow I had a lot of growth in it, even if it all happened pretty slowly. #art

If I can give one set advice to young artists, it’s that you don’t have to worry about art style! Keep doing what you do! Your interests, skills, lack of skills, things you don’t like and avoid drawing, snd your lineweight will create your art style over time. Your art style will find you!
