I really miss this about pretty much all media. I feel like so many things are over-exposed before they even have a chance to arrive. Trailers get their own teasers now, teasers get previews, etc. I wish more things were just allowed to be mysteries until they're actually revealed.

Not that either will likely ever happen for me, but if I had to pick, I'm taking option 1: great series that gets cancelled. People who watch the series and love it will go seek out the books to finish the story. A bad adaptation would misrepresent and turn away potential readers.

I fucking miss Korea. There was a legit ramen place about 10 minutes from my apartment on Jeju. Big-ass bowl of delicious tonkatsu ramen with an extra egg, pork belly. 7,000 won. That's like, $5.10 USD. I went to a ramen place in Halifax, and it was good, but it was also like $25 CAD.
