Another cool one (literally and figuratively), from a number of years ago when there had been a massive ice storm in Southern Ontario. Taken near our friend’s place in Kitchener, ALL the trees and bushes, etc. were covered in this coating of ice. It was definitely something to behold! #photography

Welp… the beginnings of a forecasted blizzard today. Even got our first school closure since moving here 2 years ago, so just a day of hangin out with the kiddo ahead ❤️ Was intending to do a Twitch stream today, but lately it always seems like the universe has other plans when I intend to hop on 😆

So my 5yo daughter actually gave a couple puns this morning... For the first, she’d been talking about farts (as a 5yo does), and said something I didn't quite hear, so I told her to wait til I was finished with what I was doing for her lunch, to which she replied: "Looks like you're toot busy"

Well… I think I FINALLY got this whole two-PC streaming set up sorted(ish), using my Mac as the 2nd PC. Was a LOT of troubleshooting to get audio and camera working.. the audio was STUPID easy to fix; turns out MacOS was automatically adding a “voice isolation” filter to the capture card input 🤦🏻‍♂️ 🧵

I see posts sometimes saying "Gaming isn't for adults" to them I say nothing. They don't understand. As someone who has PTSD, and various other issues associated with it, video games provide a much needed escape, foster a sense of community/belonging, and help me recharge. Gaming can save lives!
