Beyond Chicago I'm getting nervous about Memphis as well. People I'm close to have said that helicopters have been flying overhead. Many of the people I care about are Black and Brown folks. They are all trying to protect the kids right now, but everybody is tense and scared to leave their houses.

I live on the west side and I am very shook up right now. There's been a helicopter hovering all day. ICE throwing tear gas at a busy intersection with a grocery store! and a SCHOOL!!! People kidnapped from the Home Depot. It's like the stuff you read in history books, right there on your block.
