Introducing HTMT (HyperText Markup Targets): dynamic partial-page loading for plain HTML. Add target to your existing <a> + <form>, and HTMT swaps matching elements from your server response—no framework, no build step, just declarative markup.

Had some fun leaning about and playing with frames. You can target <a> and <form> at an iframe via target="name". iframe have two jobs, make requests & parse HTML. This means you can have an HTMX like library in (a sloppy) 1249 bytes that supports OOB swaps, pending indicators and disabled states.

"LLM token crushing" is a phrase someone used without irony. I dont see things getting better in the tech industry until the bubble pops and all these people move back into something more natural for them, like crypto grifting.

Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software. Just fuck you. Fuck you all. I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

I don't see the point in trying to learn how to work within the AI bubble. It's all smoke and mirrors and it will collapse soon. I don't want to be someone who doesn't know how to do my job because I thought a magic prompt to an 8 ball would solve my problems.

semi: true isn't about authoring. It's about reading. omitting semicolons from JS is legitimately more mentally exhausting to read, and it's absolutely maddening how many people in the industry that should otherwise know better brush off that very real pain point as "not a big deal"

I've heard folks express concern about React Router since the Remix 3 announcement Some variation of "is it on hold?"/"is it a secondary focus?"/"will it stop getting features?" etc No, No, and No 😀 To back it up, I thought I'd put together a little "React Router Wrapped" for 2025 🎄

Look, Nvidia thought it was a gaming company and OpenAI thought it was a charity so if you're expecting either of those companies to have some master plan to avoid the bubble popping you need to look elsewhere.

I wish I could work with more autists. I'm so tired of people feeling like they need to big dick everyone instead of just saying shit in straight forward ways. No one is attacking you, stop being defensive. It's a bad look.

Remember the kid who would cheat off others in school? The one who can't retain shit? The one the class would openly laugh at when the teacher purposely called on them for a basic question they can't answer because they didn't learn it? That's you as an llm user. We *ARE* laughing at you.

Been screaming this shit. It should be as surprising to you as it is that dropping an egg from a rooftop will usually break it. I really don't get how many people I thought of as reasonable have been duped by AI harder than religion gets someone who's family was just wiped out by a tragedy

Really, truly amazing that OpenAI wants us to believe that they are worth a trillion dollars but also they are so desperate for revenue that they created an infinite SlopTok app that opens them up to a billion lawsuits just so that they can maybe someday make it even worse by filling it with ads.
