Getting into electric guitar content is really funny because it's all very patterned. 90% of it is middle aged white guys that pick up a guitar and do the exact same blues noodle and then spout some nonsense about "tone wood"

I love that the DSP plugin I'm using has a noise gate that is, objectively, there to make my guitar sound better by getting rid of the hiss. But consider, Midwest emo sounds way better when it sounds just a *little* bit shitty **turns noise gate off**
