this is probably extremely niche but I built a native and WASM compatible interface for Zebra's SNAPI protocol, including the imaging interface! so you can pull image/video from their imagers/scanners without their SDK, including on the web (in Chromium browsers) serene-panda-82f1a4.netlify.app

zebra imagers can send JPEG data over HID inputs, I don't like that

Got sticker cutting working too :3 Still need to figure out offsets a bit, their scale factor is really weird and I'm probably doing something wrong which is causing cut lines to not match up perfectly, but it's mostly usable as a replacement at this point. Code and link to use it on GitHub!

I was expecting generating cut lines to be way harder tbh, but it appears to be doable with some basic operations, and there's good libraries for doing them. Still obviously some behaviors to work out, but I think I can make it work.

if I use Web Serial in Chrome to start a RFCOMM connection on my Mac, this device expects me to use iAP2 (Apple's proprietary MFi protocol), but the exact same webapp on Windows doesn't??? how does it know, I'm sending the same data! really didn't want to have to write iAP2 negotiation code x.x

there's no cross platform Rust libraries for Bluetooth Classic and I only need RFCOMM anyway, so guess I'm gonna make a thing with WASM that only works in Chrome...

Apple’s product segmenting is weird. Base 17 has pretty much everything now, going to the Air loses a camera and battery life for a thinner (but barely lighter, -12g) device with a slightly bigger screen and faster chip. 17 Pro is slightly smaller than Air but adds cameras and features, and battery.
