A 'turn' is a short train that leaves a yard, delivers trucks, picks up others and returns to the yard it departed from. In this photo taken at Barrow-in-Furness, we see NWR S4, Paxton, leaving with a turn for Crovans' Gate while NWR S3, Sidney, shunts the yard. #TTTE #STMY

Further information. Janet is a LNER K2, one from the Scottish region, with an extra window cab. When her class were being withdrawn, her crew hid her in a barn. Decades later, when British Rail was disbanded, they contacted the Fat Controller about restoring her. #STMY #TTTE

This is Janet, a new character who'll be introduced in #STMY. She's based at Barrow along with Neville and Caden, and is the NWR's current no. 11. I'm using Bandicam to record my modelling of her, and will be doing a multi-part video series showing my techniques for modelmaking. #TTTE

#STMY Season 3 was originally going to be 9 episodes long. It'll now be 13. I may need to do another casting call for the extra 4 episodes. (Including a reworked 'Harbour Engines') As for why an odd number, it's because season 2 finished on an odd number and this will get it back to even. #ttte

Here’s Rosie’s full backstory for #STMY. She was originally built as the prototype of the USATC S100 class, and was test-run in Bigg City port between 1941-1943. After her test runs, her sisters were built. She was shipped off to Europe with them to help with WW2. (1/8) #TTTE

I've had a few comments about the fowler tenders on the engines. As such, I've decided only Henry and the Scottish Twins had theirs upgraded. With the others, they tried it. But Alice found that the extra weight didn't help. Peter declined as he wanted to look different from Henry. #ttte #stmy

As Edward ran ahead with the train Locke stayed at the back, as brakevans often do, and kept an eye on the trucks as they trundled down the mainline. If ever one tried to play a trick he's ring out his little bell & Edward would promptly bump them to make them settle down.

During WW2, when Thomas had to go into the works, Neville looked after the Ffarquhar Branch Line. Thomas didn't mind. After all, he and Neville were cousins. #TTTE
