Re-watching #StarTrek #DeepSpaceNine episode Trials and Tribulations. In it Dax hides her Trill spots, I assumed perhaps because the Federation hadn't met Trills yet. But then later she and Sisko see McCoy and Dax reveals a previous host knew him when at medical school. So why hide the spots?
