Put together some thoughts here. In an earlier time he would have been the kind of writer being paid $5 a word by magazines to go write about whatever he pleased. And no one would be pissed off or jealous about it either.

States need to end their data-sharing with the federal govāt. They should have been studying the problem at /minimum/ the moment DOGE started tearing down legal firewalls between data reservoirs.

NEW(ish?): In April Pres. Trump signed EO 14288 "Strengthening and Unleashing America's Law Enforcement" One part calls for "collection and distribution of crime data across jurisdictions" On 9/24, the DoJ gave Palantir a no-bid contract to build the platform that will pull all state/local data.

I was talking to someone who doesn't consume that much news this morning, and he just assumed ICE agents were killed in that shooting. A terrible combination of a weaponized FBI, lying politicians, and our media ecosystem is making is harder and harder for the truth to get out.

Once again I ask: what ever happened to the promises of cryptocurrency as a utility? How does the average person benefit from this technology? What happened to the supposed revolution of the blockchain? We haven't seen any of that. It's just a bullshit investment asset for jabronis to gamble with.
