I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Science in Resistance: The scientist rebellion for climate justice by Fernando Racimo. Maybe not very surprising, after all, it was reading a paper by Fernando that made me join Scientist Rebellion three years ago. 🧵

I recommended reading this book after having seen a near-final draft and I have now read it again. Fernando's account is a fantastic achievement and highly recommended reading for anyone who wants to understand why so many scientists now leave their labs and join the protests for a better future.

Why do so many people still suggest "calling your Congressional office or the White House" as like the go-to form of "resistance." Just saw this in a comment by Nicholas Kristof, the NYT columnist, but have been seeing it all over. I thought it was clear that was deader than dead as a useful thing
