It's a whole new world in #Akron, #Ohio. 93% of a representative panel of residents endorsed "comprehensive zoning reform" and "tiny homes zoning". Assuming this doc from a few weeks back is accurate, this could be a gamechanger for affordable homes and connected neighborhoods in Akron. #YIMBY

Gamechanger for transport without a car: loading a bike onto a bus. Old hat in many cities, but I did it for the first time today and it's incredible. It means everything within 5 miles of a bus stop is now super accessible, as long as there's good bike infrastructure. Less reliance on transfers.

Riverside Drive in North Hill overlooks the famous Cuyahoga River. It's such a nice view that we already have hiking trails very close by. It could be a great linear park. For a few thousand bucks in plastic barriers, Akron or Metro Parks could install a test park between Magnolia and Drexel.
