Progress continues at Madison Park's futsal courts! The asphalt has been laid and fence installed. After the asphalt cures for about three weeks, the court surface, striping, and sealing can be completed (weather-permitting). The target date for the reopening is in mid-June.

The Lakewood Fire Department's annual fire hydrant flushing will begin on May 1, 2026. Flushing fire hydrants is a necessary maintenance procedure that helps to clear sediment and keeps them ready in the event of an emergency. Flushing takes place between the hours of 10 AM and 3 PM, Monday-Friday.
